I had read somewhere a poem about a sailboat. It compared death with a sailboat and passing into the next life. As a couple stood on the shore, they watched the sailboat reach the horizon then was welcomed by the life on the other side.

I don't remember where I read and wondered if anyone here might know what I'm talking about and where I can find it.

I believe you are talking about "What is dying?"
The author is unknown.
I have copy...please check your email.

This is exactly the poem I was looking for. I knew I could count on a fellow "piper"

In my search, I also found that it was written by Bishop Brent.
