Sorry, folks... This is suthern, not Mr. Personality. *S*

I got an email from his son saying that he'd tried to access PIP but was having difficulty logging onto his Dad's account - so I took this liberty.

Toe came through the surgery fairly well. He's experiencing some numbness, but that isn't stopping him from flirting with the nurses and keeping everyone laughing. *S*

He may get to go home Friday - and sends his thanks to everyone for their thoughtfulness and concern.

Thank you, Toe the Second, for letting us know... and thank you thank you thank you God.

Experiencing numbness? In other words, he's back to normal??

Thank you, suthern gal. I've thought about little else these past few days (don't tell him that!)

He's a trooper. I've little doubt he'll be back to his old tricks in no time and I, for one, will enjoy being lambasted by him once more.

Who says prayers don't get answered. Some numbness was to be expected, but before we all know it, not only his toe will be tapping! lol

Numbness is a common occurrence after any kind of surgery...you just tell Toe that we are all keeping him in our prayers, and that if he gets to go home Friday, then he's doing JUST fine...

You know Toe's okay when he asks the doctor for a keg of morphine to go when he leaves, and doesn't care if it is generic! His son says he is up to his usual tricks, leaving them laughing. Great sign that he is going to be 100%, and praise the Lord for that!

I just had to pop back in to say that if I had had Toe as a patient when I was a floor nurse, I would have given him 6 bed baths a day whether he wanted them or not!

When I was a head nurse, I had other responsibilities!

Go, Toe! It's been an interesting couple of days, hasn't it? Everybody around here's been asking everybody else, "How's he doin'?" "How's he doin'?" .....and folks who had almost forgotten how have been prayin' like it was ordinary for 'em....

Mighty good to see you look like coming through ok, so we can all go back to sinning with a clear conscience....

Hi ya gang....thanks so much for all the well wishes and I'll be back soon to terrorize Ron, Balladeer etc...you all have been extremely kind..I'll be fine I'm sure....the drugs are great and except for some numbness and deafness and blurred vision I'm just hunkie dorrie...LOL...(sounds like my usual self doesn't it?)...take care and thanks...
