Went to my appointment today and had to do the normal checkup. My next appointment is on the 16th and it'll be the last time I go in biweekly. My daughter always has to move around when my belly is being felt, or I'm getting an ultrasound/heartbeat check. Today, however, she was really not in the mood! As my doctor put the doppler on my stomach, she was raving and wriggling around like I'd drank 5 cups of coffee or something. It took my doctor 5 minutes to get her heartbeat on the doppler because she absolutely would NOT sit still. I thought it was funny, she's done this before but today she was really vehement upon getting this checkup done. All is well, she's a big baby and she's got a strong, healthy heartbeat. ![]() |

LOL, you may be buying soccer shoes for her some day, or skydiving equipment. My Sara was a kicker, always moving her feet. I immediately thought gymnastics... she rides horses now, and has done some vaulting exercises...spinning 'round in the saddle while the horse is at a trot. Yep, physical agility, it was already showing up at the six month doppler checkup. LOL, you just can't tell what they'll do, but I believe it IS a good sign your gal is so physically active already. Enjoy these moments, where she is in one place, as it'll get really hard to keep up with her when she gets running shoes. ![]() |

Well I got no pregnant stories! But I loved the title of your thread and I LOVE kids. So you got pics? ![]() If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Before my daughter was born, we called her "Dancer" because she would move to the beat of music. Her favorite (or that to which she was most active) was the George T. song "Bad to the Bone". It is good that she is active. Makes it all more real. Again, good luck. |

I remember my first child's actions - she wanted to swim. I SWORE her feet were always up in my throat - she always seemed to be at full stretch. Such good news! The better you take care of yourself, the healthier your baby will be! |
