Hi, everybody! Well, the good news today is that Miscellanea (Cathy) made it through the surgery just fine. She should be home tonight....though I probably will not call her until tomorrow to see how she's feeling. My mother said she's going to be fine...that the fractures required two pins to stabilize. That's all I know for now. Thanks, everybody, for your thoughts and prayers for my little sis.

Thanks for the update, Jo! So glad everything went well. Now if we can just keep her foot elevated and keep her slowed down a bit...she'll heal just fine!

Oh, I didn't even know she had hurt herself! I wish her speedy recovery! Please tell her hello, and to mend quickly and come back to these blue pages.

Kacy, I bet she'll be popping in here tomorrow. There's not going to be much else for her to do for three months, I guess. Thanks for stopping in.

JUst out for a quick break--no pun intended!  Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers.  Apparently they are working, as the pain is a little less today.  Hip, hip hooray! Gotta go.
  (I'll try to work myself up to reading and posting on a few poems a day.  I wish I could read a heap of the wonderful poetry posted here, but my comfort level doesn't allow for much concentration yet.)
