I have a little niece (brother's daughter) in Vancouver who has just recently had a brain tumor removed.
Unfortunately, the tumor was found to be malignant and now my brother is faced with the choice of giving her radiation which has a 70% chance of success but will leave her with a reduced IQ or chemo which has a 40% chance of success..........This leaves my brother and his wife with the toughest decision they've ever faced in their life.
They are currently searching the US and other countries for further knowledge on these applications....They have a few weeks before the final decision has to be made

I'm very very SERIOUS, if any of you know of any specialists in your area that they can consult then I would appreciate an email....I'm trying desperately to help them. This is just a little 3 yr. old girl...

I thank you so much and I've never been more serious in my life!! They want to look into every avenue of proceedure. Not everything is listed on Google or other such search engines...

If they can, I would suggest getting her to M. D. Anderson in Houston, Texas. That particular hospital has one of the highest rates of successful cancer intervention. I will keep her and your family in my prayers.

Oh Eric, how terribly sad. I have no suggestions as to treatment facilities, but offer all my hopes and prayers that she survives with the best of her God-given abilities.

Heart hugs to all of you. This is a heart breaker no matter what option the family choses.

St. Jude's has done wonderful work with children with cancer..please follow this link and call them..

Our company has supported them for years as one of my former bosses had a child with cancer, since in remission. Good luck, I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

If they need anything else, please let me know (I don't have a lot of money but I would be more than happy to donate some if they need to find a way to get your niece to another specialist! Please let me know if I can help!)

Thanks once again for the wonderful support and kindness it certainly means a lot to me and I know it will make my brother feel better knowing there are still such good people in the world.
