CR x Creating Reality Open Poetry Competition > > Prizes > 1st Place £1000 > 2nd Place £250 > 3rd Place £100 > 2 runner-up prizes of £25 > for an unpublished poem in English of up to 70 lines. > > RULES > > 1. Entrants may submit an unlimited number of > poems on any subject and a fee of £5 for the first poem and £3 thereafter must accompany each > poem. Cheques (made out to Creating Reality) or postal orders in Sterling are accepted. Otherwise payment should be in the form of a banker's draft or an international money order.Entries should be sent to Competition Administrator, Creating Reality, 8a Womersley Rd, London, N8 9AE. > 2. All poems must be the unpublished original work of a living author. > > 3. Poems should not exceed 70 lines. > > 4. The poems must be typed on one side of the paper only. > > 5. The name of the entrant must not appear on > the poems themselves as the competition will be judged anonymously. Entrants should write their > name, contact details and poem titles on a separate sheet of paper and firmly attach this to the poems along with their payment. > > 6. No alterations can be made to the poem once it has been submitted, and it is regretted that no entries can be returned under any circumstances. > > 7. The judge's decisions are final and no > correspondence can be entered into regarding those decisions. > > 8. A list of the prizewinners will be posted up > on this website in June 2004. > > 9. Copyright will remain with the competitor but winning poems will appear on the website. > > 10. The closing date is April 24th 2004. > > 11.
