Dearest Passions. (Sis, Marty,Marge...) please send prayers... Katie (our youngest) who just moved out of home this week and is on her own for the first time (21yrs. old) into a nice Christian home (baby sitting and ranch work). needs our prayers. ASAP.

PS... The stupid hospital wouldn't even give Rosemary or I any Info. unless Katie would sign a wavier... and she’s so drugged out she can’t even spell her name. Can you believe that.........??? Expecting us to call her... she’s waiting, waiting, waiting.... where’s... mom and dad...

PSS ... Rosemary here - latest update - Katie had to have a corneal transplant. She suddenly went blind in one eye. She could see the big E on the chart at this morning's Dr. check. That's not much, but it's something.
We're praying the transplant will be a success, and some vision will return.

Not even a week.....

three days have passed since your depart

I had to take some aspirin
from a headaches lurking sweep

like a mishap from a dream
said your eye is hurt somehow
and a physician was routine

she’d have a ride back and there
with auto accident between
and with left arm in a sling now
it was beyond my state of dream

especially when they told me
her eye was in surgery’s need
unknowing that tomorrow
it just might be all together

Prayers on their way Dale. Please let Rosemary know we are thinking of you all at this time. I hope you get in touch with Katie soon! This is scary - to not talk to her. Let us know how it goes ok?

Looks like she will be coming home for Christmas and a-while, don't know how long though. She did sign some papers so the Doc could talk to us but it seems he's always in surgery. She is in need of band-aids for her eye and no one up here seems to have or carry them... Isn't that a Laugh... didn't send her home with any either... believe that..? I guess she's going to be a shepherd in a arm sling and an eye-patch in the church play. She's taking it all very well and jokes about it. Said she could spend her life's saving (about 400 dollars) on a glass eye. Rosemary's finally sleeping and I'm really glad for that..! I guess we'll get a lot more things answered today. It's hard to believe she had perfect vision last week and now maybe blind in her left eye... It's something very rare... I'll try and figure out how to spell it and let you all know.
