Do make sure that whatever pictures you are using, are not under a protected copyright. I use to use from sites that offered free photos [freefoto.com is a good place for wonderful pictures] but since getting a digital camera, I've had too much fun using my own. |

< img src ="http://cyberaddress.jpg"> Without the space, of course - and - pictures can't be posted from your own computer unless they're uploaded to an internet site... If you click on the "edit" icon at the top of this comment, you can see how it's done... ![]() [This message has been edited by Nan (10-21-2003 06:26 PM).] |

The only way I found out how to upload from my pc was to open in windows explorer. when you right click the pick go to open with then internet explorer. then i go to properties from that pick and post it that way. that is the only way I can do it. |

The only way you can upload a picture from your own PC is through an FTP program (File Transfer Protocol) or an integral webbuilder that has FTP built in - You HAVE TO have a destination on the web that will accept your picture, then you have to send it through the FTP program. Once your picture is uploaded, where ever you send it, it will have an individually designated URL. That URL is the address that you insert into the "img src" code. If you think you're uploading from your own computer directly to PiP, only you will be able to see the end result. Your own computer will read from its own hard drive. No one else's will be able to do that, and it won't be viewable from any other PC.... You have to start with finding a web space for your pics... ![]() |
