Hello all,

It's been a while since I have visited here, but I have been extremely busy.  I normally would access PIP while at work but that has been really hard lately, but I have not forgotten my friends here.

As I mentioned, I am needing some literary advice.  My sister is adopting her foster child who has been in her care for almost 2 years.  Madison, the adoptee, was only an infant when she first came into my sister's care.  Now she is 2 years old.  She has been a blessing to both my sister and my whole family.

My problem:  I have been recruited (as the poet of the family) to be creative and write a little something to print on adoption announcements.  My brain is on "lock down" and the words won't flow.  Does anyone have any advice?

I think something about 'choosing her' would be good. Sounds like your family is very loving and giving. Congratulations!

just a suggestion, maybe for this task go with free verse instead of metered rhyme...i think for intimate situations as these it might work a little better...here is my help if you wish

a little bundle on joy
