To be sure it's heard, since I'm not at all sure mine are on the A-list right now..... I'd like to ask that anyone who sees this stop for a few seconds and thank the Deity that the chunk of cement someone chucked off the overpass tonight hit my car's doorpost and exploded, rather than landing six inches left, where it would have punched through the windshield and killed Ratette..... I lost a windshield but not a wife. ....help me out here, eh? At this moment I'm not convinced that what I'm sayin' is getting through the clutter (or should).....but I'm grateful. |

For the sake of a foot the woman was saved in prayers of relief the pathway was paved in giving of thanks the new heart was made and all for the sake of a foot For the sake of relief a new way was found and giving of thanks became heaven bound laughter flew forth instead of a shroud and all for the sake of relief prayers shall arise in the giving of thanks from those who know and those in the ranks those with God's ears and those near his shanks shall give out the blessing of thanks I can pass on my thanks to God's ear but he is more likely to listen to you because you are the centre of this tapestry. The noise was so loud that someone in another car called police about someone shooting a gun.... We ok, but Ratette's almost-new car has looked better....sigh....we were thinking about riding up into the San Gabriel Mountains today, but I guess that ain't gonna happen...... I am so sorry that your weekend plans have gone down the tube... but so very, very grateful you're dealing with aggravation instead of tragedy. I've been pleading with and/or nagging God almost constantly lately... YIKES! That must have terrifeid both of you! I have no direct line to any powerful figures, but 'poetic justice' calls for intervention...may the creature that did that dirty deed be re-gifted with a pair of concrete gloves.  OK, OK, vengeance isn't mine. But what if the overpass is simply falling apart due to lack of long term highway maintenance? Is that a possibility? |
