Dear friends I’ve just spoken to my beloved Keth and this is in essence what she said. The neurosurgeon is unwilling to operate because of the risk to Jay’s senses. He agrees that surgery is needed but thinks that the risk is too great. The tumour is situated where it is pressing against the optic nerve and the pituitary gland there may already be damage to the endocrine system, and to the optic nerve. The neurosurgeon wants to wait for two month to see if the tumour grows any more, naturally enough Keth and April feel that if surgery were needed then sooner rather than later would be better. April will be consulting with the paediatric neurosurgeon tomorrow and may well be seeking a second opinion in Melbourne. Keth, April and Jay all send their thanks to you for your prayers. Keth will be back home for the weekend and will update you of any further developments. I must add that Jay’s seizures are getting worse, which obviously isn’t good, so please continue to pray, Keth, April and Jay are in need of them and will continue to do so. Love and warm stuff As always Mushy Tomorrow is another day I don't know what it holds |

It's sad no matter how you look at it...the choices both seem so unfair for such a young child. I am thinking of Keth and praying that the right decision is made and that Jay comes through it all... thanks Marsha hugs to you and Keth M |

Prayers grow here in the round where hands are held in silent sound but He hears us, oh yes, He does as prayers are lifted for a family's cause... |

Please let Kethry know that I am also sending Jay my healing thoughts and hopes. And for the whole family, I'm wishing you great emotional strength and stamina through this obviously painful ordeal. Thank you for proving..again, what a passionate soul you are, Marsha. |

I am praying for the right decision to be made--one that will ultimately be for Jay's highest and best. May a host of healing and comforting angels surround Jay, April and Kethry. I will continue with my prayers and distant healing. Sending a rainbow of healing lights, Linda |

What a difficult time for Kethry and her family. I can relate to it in a small way, as our son, Ron, who is now 38 years old, spent the first year of his life with uncontrollable grand mal seizures. It was an aboslute nightmare! I am praying there will be a quick and succesful resolution to this awful situation. Betty Lou Hebert |

Life is too complex. Especially for the little ones. I'll continue my prayers for them all. |

Mushy, I have a hard time responding because it is so emotional with the deep friendship I feel for Keth but please let her know I'm thinking of them every day.... |
