Hi Everyone, We just purchased a new puppy from the Animal Shelter in our city. She is 8mos. old, her name is Meeka, she is a Shitz Tzu. My husband says she is just a "walking slipper with tail." lol. Anyway, she is taking up most of my day as we are not certain of her upbringing and training. So, I am outside most of the time - even three in the morning.

I don't know about Meeka, but I am pooped(oops, never say the two "p" words out loud in front of a puppy in training.) Where was I? Oh, yes, I might not be in Pip as much, commenting or posting, but will try to when and if I get breaks. I miss you all already and we have only had the darn dog two days!!! Be well and safe my Passions friends. Woof woof from Meeka and me.

That's certainly understandable but we'd be alot more sympathetic if we could see a picture of her!! I love puppies!

HA! I have photos! She's adorable! As soon as Chris tells me I can put them up for her, I will, because it could be she wouldn't want the little thing dognapped, and by gosh, she's THAT cute!!!

You enjoy your time with Meeka Chris..
and the boys will love her, I bet.
But, please stop in whenever you can..
be sure to set aside some time for you.

Hi, Meeka says, "yes either Karilea or Nancylee may post a pic of me." The one of her little face is priceless. Oh, I am going to dress her in fancy duds and paint her toenails...and hats...oooh, they have such darling puppy hats! Thanks guys...I will be thinking of ya while I am cleaning up the doo doo....oh, that didn't sound right....umm..let's just say, I'll miss ya! hugs, Chris

I know what you mean about "Slippers with a tail , we have Lhassa Apsos which is the cousin to the Shitz Tzu , we have always said her paws were her slippers LOL

We had a Buffy that reminds me of Meeka, or I guess I should say, Meeka reminds me of Buffy. Although Buffy wasn't all Shitz Tzu, I believe. Small, like Meeka, so perhaps we just kept her clipped shorter than the average Shitz Tzu. All I know is, she was darling and clever, loved to be a lap dog, and was so loyal...

Yessir that's my baby! Thanks for posting her pics NancyLee, we are really proud of her and how she has adapted so quickly. She loves popsicles! Purple are her favourite.
