I want to thank you all and let you know how much I appreciate this. I am reading as I print these out, and can't wait to get back to be here again. At the suggestion of our sweet Ethel (and if I'm wrong about the who on that I will blame it on the meds...lol...when all else fails, blame it on the meds...) I am going to repost a little series of poems I did quite some time back so that those of you who wish to can read and also for the newer members who might not be familiar with my older work. Yesterday was one of the better days since the set back and I am praying that todays therapy will in some way bring more relief. Donna... I just saw these two announcements.. the moth is out of the loop these days... I am sorry you are still going thru all this.. take care of you...make those docs do the same!! You will be kept in prayer and thought... get better girlie.  |

My apologies, as I now realized it was Linda that asked for me to repost some of my "oldies". As for the recuperation, finally some good news! After my set back last week and the changes they have made I am finally getting to the point where there is still much stiffness and sensitivity tenderness and such but the pain is finally being under control and I can continue with my therapy again which brings me that much closer to not having to take VALIUMS that drive me to being all but stupid (as if I already weren't at times...lol....)but there is a good deal of relief and I am praying that it continues to progress this way now. They have found that not only has my neck been injured, but the injuries also are in my back and they are now working on correcting that also. It almost feels like starting all over again, but with much less pain. I am still not allowed to return to work on a full time basis nor am I allowed to spend amounts of time at the computer...but I am getting there and along with the therapy your prayers and poetry has lightened my spirits incredibly and I thank you all for keeping me in your thoughts. I hope that very soon I will be able to come to each of you and reply to each poem, but I have been printing them out and when I finally get back to being able to be here I promise to come visit ya;ll who have been so supportive throughout this trying time. Karilea, I can not thank you enough for being there for me and for keeping Passions posted as this truly is like home away from home. Once again the incredible spirit of peace and friendship found at Passions has brightened the day, and once again I have to thank our host Ron for giving us this place of solitude and peace......and friendship. ok......ok........I'm done yappin now, but may you all be blessed with peace. Hugs to all......hey......I can even get a hug now without it hurting.... and that my friends is a very, very good thing.  ~D~I must have had my momma's will and Gods Amazing Grace... Sometimes we know it takes a day or two longer than we wish for the healing to begin. I'm just glad you're doing better, and that they've located all the problems and you're on the road to health and a good recovery! How could we NOT do without our Gentle Spirit?  |

Gee whiz I just read this and Karilea's email about your health Donna, and I can't tell you how sorry I am you are suffering in this manner. I hope you get off those valium soon and reality is back for you, plus the pain is gone. I will read some of your poems now that I am finding time for some reading, as none of yours are ever old to me. You take care of you, and get back as soon as you can. Karilea thank you for your caring. |
