Due to circumstances in my life, I must leave Passions. I have enjoyed all of you, your poetry and your kindness... It has been fun... Thank you all. Hopefully someday the sun will shine on my life and allow me this opportunity again. Thank you again. |

You are not only one of my favorite poets, you are one of my favorite men!  You are an incredibly gifted writer, you're busting with brains--and brawn--from your photo! --and you are full of heart and soul. Oh, Barry, this is such sad news. From the first day I came to Passions, you have been one of my favorite people here. You are always so nice and mannerly...so compassionate and caring....with your poetry and your replies. I know that sometimes situations come about that make it necessary for us to do things we don't really want to do. We do them, though, because we think it's for the best. I do hope that you will decide to come back to us, my friend. We all love and respect you here. Until we meet again, take care of yourself, dear Barry, and know that we are here for you if you need us. This is Tom Bodette saying "We'll leave the light on for you." Barry, good man, there comes a time when good byes are best choices. I hate that. You will be sorely missed until you return. Magnus, Do what you must and know that you will be missed. Do what you must but, do not stay away too long. Do what you must knowing that you are leaving a saddend void. and know in your heart that in the world of virtual lovers you are always there and we are here. Remember, as you have written so be it: "Above me, the ceiling’s texture, countless bumps reminding me of those roads traveled over goose flesh with a giggle.. Beside me, flower upon flower, swaying in my mind’s eye, of a meadow’s frolic. Beneath me, the warmth of a sun’s rays, the softness of cotton clouds, the image of sheer and silkiness in skin clothed...wanting... yearning... Around me, the fragrance of shoulders white as passion rose within the throes of lovers dancing. You were there among those clouds, dancing on the meadow, lying sensually upon a silken bed. I still feel your presence within the rumpled sheer. The musk of you filling my senses. Come again my love, that the moon might smile and blush the rose. As nails trace and lace rustles the warmth of you... I wait...." We wait.. Thank for all your wonderful poetry and shining your light on me. This is indeed sad news to find this morning... your talent, grace and class will be so greatly missed. I know this isn't a decision made lightly... but I hope this is only a sabbatical and that your path someday brings you this way again... for until then, you leave a hole in this family only you can fill.
