As many of you know, Ruth (Hoot Owl) has had more than her share of health issues over the past few years. I just spoke with her a few minutes ago, and she asked me to share her latest situation with all of you and ask for your prayers. This is what she shared with me... "I found a mass in my neck at the beginning of the week, went to the doctors on Thursday, he sent me right away for a biopsy on Friday, they tried to biopsy it, but I developed a hematoma and they had to stop, now I'll need to go for additional tests. The doctor feels it's a lymph node...he mentioned Lymphoma.Needless to say, I'm a bit frightened." Ruth's family has a prayer chain going right now, and she would very much appreciate the prayers of her Passions family as well. Please keep Ruth and her family in your thoughts and prayers during this stressful time, and let's pray for her quick healing. Prayers sent, Ruth... Everyone...thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I'm scheduled for a CT Scan tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM. The pathologist, although unable to complete the biopsy, felt that aside from the mass there was also a "fullness" to the entire left side of my neck. His suggestion to my doctor, until the hematoma resolves and they can again try to biopsy, was to do a CT Scan as soon as possible. Perhaps I'll know more soon, until then I'm finding out that a little knowledge is not a good thing  Please continue to hold me in your prayers. Hugs Ruth |

Ruth has had a long day - She had her tests - but has no discernable results - She'll likely have to wait another week for another round of tests before she knows anything more... Think positive, Ruth - Love ya... |
