Our Prayer Circle Is Needed For Denise's Brother |

Hi there, Denise's brother Michael is only 47 and is going through some major health problems and needs our prayers. He was rushed for emergency surgery where they had to remove a portion of his bowel due to a severe infection, and he is in very poor shape. . After about a week or so in the hospital, he will be transferred to a rehab center to learn how to take care of himself with the colostomy bag and then in about a month or so he will need more surgery to reattach his bowel, so please keep Michael in your prayers for Denise's family. |

Oh my how horrible. A woman at work went to the hospital yesterday for a severe bowel infection though she will be going home tomorrow. My thoughts and prayers are on their way! |

I will keep him in my prayers!!!! That is horrible stuff. One of my best friends Dad had that and had some of his removed. That was about 6 years ago. Now he is doing very well. Thank you all so much for your prayers for Michael. It is much appreciated. I'll let him know that all you wonderful folks have him in your thoughts and prayers. I won't be online at all in the evenings in the next few days as I don't want to tie up the phone line in case anyone needs to get in touch with us. I'll be popping in and out during the day as my work load permits. Thanks again, everyone. |

Thank you, all you wonderful people! You are all so special. Michael was moved from ICU to a step-down unit on Wednesday, which was a good sign that he is progressing toward recovery, although he doesn't much feel like he is recovering at the moment. He was a little bit more 'with it' when I was at the hospital, but he's still very weak and can't speak more than a sentence without becoming exhausted. He will be in the hospital for at least another week, then to rehab for about 3 or 4 days and then home to finish recuperating while awaiting 'round two' in about a month or so. Thanks again for the prayers and well wishes. It is most appreciated. |
