I just wanted to tell everyone about this cool chat place called LivVe. I see every now and then people try to get a poetry room going in some chat place so I thought I would bring this one to your attention. LivVe used to be Mplayer. I don't know if any of you know or remember Mplayer but I LOVED it. I am a self proclaimed yahoo junky... lol... Mplayer was the only place that ever came close to taking me away from yahoo. It did actually for almost a year, and then, due to financial issues, it closed down  Another company bought it and now it is LivVe. It is primarily a voice chat place. The voice chat is much better than yahoo... (I don't know about the other places... I haven't been to them lol). It also has cam abilities as well. It is still small so it is nice to go in and hang out. Now, of course it's not perfect no place is, but it is definitely worth checking out. They have different options when you sign up... a free acct and pay accts, which is always nice. If you choose to go sign up, there are 2 things you should know. They have a meet and greet room that is open every night between 9:30pm and 10 pm EST. They cover the basics there so it is a good place to check in at  The 2nd thing... when you register to sign up there will be a referral section... if you would, you can put down wikked_girl as the person who told ya about it. I know wikked_girl doesn't sound like me LOL It is the name I had back in the day when it was Mplayer. I kept the same name incase someone from the old mplayer days would recognize it. I want to get it changed to something more fitting lol we have to wait and see. Anyway, it's a cool place and definitely worth a look. Maybe if enough of people sign up we can have a poetry reading room... they have an On Stage lobby that is perfect for that kind of thing. Did I mention they have games (spades, hearts, checkers, poker, yarn and more!) Ok ok I'm done LOL. I used to play hearts at Mplayer (now gamespy)-- they had started back up as MplayerArabia--now i guess they have changed again.. I may check it out-- Thanks  J |

Thank you for checking it out I'm sure you will like it!And Jamie.. I remember hearing about the Mplayer Arabia... I'm not sure if it will stay MplayerArabia or change to LivVe.. I will find out of you though Tara "in my field of paper flowers |
