I bowed my head in prayer today
knowing that one week ago
we lost a favored friend and poet.

I thought about how time fills in like sand
and minutes turn to hours
It was a week ago that she was still of this earth
She was there for us, even then, in words and
spirit.

Yes life goes on
But, some still mourn
and are not afraid to show it

there are stages to grieving... and anger is one of them...

some... some are not afraid..some are far too private..and others.. others.. cover it up in denial...

((hug)) for the pain...

and I do so wish there were words to make it easier or better... but you know with some certainty nothing said to you would make it better...and nothing I or anyone could offer will fill the void left inside.

So much has happened with our world in the past week...

This was a poignant reminder of how sadly it had started...

(tears fall down my cheeks) Yes, I still think of Lyra ever so much and always will and still cry at night sometimes and cry myself to sleep at 3 in the morning! (big hugggssssssss) Lyra is our friend and she will never ever be forgotten, God Bless You, we all send extra special angel hugs to you and Lyra's family! Her love is in all our hearts!

Yes, there are many stages to grieving and each of us experiences it in their own way.
Sometimes there is nothing you can say to help. Sometimes silence is best and the peaceful presence of another.

I wish you well and thank you for your words.
