Just a note to let you know that I have no idea how long ago I received a virus ( the trojan horse) that froze my computer on Friday evening ...so that I couldn't get past the Windows opening screen and had to take it to Gateway to find out what was wrong. I will not be opening any emails especially those that are forwarded anymore unless I know to expect one.
And I hope that I have not inadvertently sent the
virus to anyone else.

Norton or McAfee - One or the other is a "must have"... I hope you've got one installed - Those viruses are nasty little guys...

Norton won't let ANYTHING through to me so any attachments have to go to my Yahoo address...it's a pain, but I'd prefer that to having a virus. Thanks for the heads up Maureen. They are a pain aren't they?

I had it too, I couldn't get into my mail at all and everything is still mighty slow as a fall out from that virus. I didn't do anything , I guess the internet worked it out. Joyce

I have Norton, but I am sure I need an update...*s

and I am not sure which email did it whether it was hotmail or aol...but I also have been having a lot of unsolicited im's popping in my window of those I don't know and if I am not careful and not watching, they interfere with my chat and I clicked on a url (without looking)which of course was porn...some of those cause problems and the only solution is to not do 2 things at once and watch what comes on the screen...
