As most of you know, I've been dealing with some health concerns over the past year and those, coupled with lack of energy from trying to maintain my full time work status and deal with my health at the same time, have kept me from being as active on Passions as I'd like to be. A visit to my physician last week, after dealing with being tired all the time, increasing blood pressure, and on-and-off chest pain for over a year, and a follow-up EKG has proven to be bad news. My EKG shows significant changes in the form of inverted T-Waves (significant for Cardiac damage) and Q-Waves (which my doctor feels is probably due to a recent heart attack or MI). I'm currently waiting for an appointment with a cardiologist who will order a strss test and then probably another cardiac catherization and what ever else it takes to correct what ails me. At 39, with one kidney and being primary bread earner for my family, this all concerns me greatly. I just ask that you all hold me in your prayers right now and hopefully this is something that can be corrected with medication and won't require me to be off work for any length of time or cardiac surgey ( a major fear of mine). Thank you everyone, your prayers mean more than you can imagine. With the upcoming holidays, my appointment with the Cariologist is set for two weeks Dec 12. Hopefully I'll know more then. |
