hey passions friends  i dont frequent the announcements forums much at all...so this is almost new to me..lol but i just wanted to announce that i get a second chance at being a wife.. my boyfriend kevin and i have been dating for about 9 mths..and last monday he asked me to marry him...i accepted!  we dont have a date set yet, but we're thinking about some time in april if all goes as our thinking is planned..lol so thats the news in the life of dg.. ! hugs, g "laughter is the shortest distance between two people" -victor borge [This message has been edited by dgvarner (11-25-2002 08:29 AM).] |

Congratulations, but "a second chance at being a wife?" Perhaps the first time he was not ready to be a husband? Marriage is right up there with being one of the hardest jobs in the world along with parent and teacher, but also one of the most rewarding if both parties do their share. Good luck to you both and may you grow together and separately in love always. |

MYSTERIA...deep thinker arent you...i most appreciate your response..the first husband once told me, rather quietly, "you know... know one ever taught me how to be a husband..." i knew then that i could not do it alone, and we were in deep trouble...but..we are good friends now.. and everything happens for a reason...perhaps the first go 'round was simply to produce the little girl who is the most precious thing i ever did help to make.. thank you again my poet friends, for sharing this happiness with me..!! Okay, so I'm late...but there was a REALLY long line to congratulate you! LOL! And then, on my way, I stopped at the refreshment table and they had these really good cookies and these little things that were made from flour tortillas and they were all rolled up with different stuff inside...VERY yum! So, anyway...now I'm full and the crowd has cleared and I can take as much time as I want, so here goes... You KNOW that I'm happy for you, right? Well, I am. I can see how happy you are with Kevin and it's wonderful to see. I only wish I could be there to witness your happiness in person...someday. I miss you, ya know? I want to come meet my 'niece' for the first time and meet your future husband. But, most of all, I wish I could come visit YOU. Have I mentioned that I miss you? LOL Okay..I'll stop rambling now...maybe... Congratulations, friend...you're one of my favoritist people in the whole world and I'm so happy that your're happy.
