 A MILESTONE WELL MET Some of you may not be aware of this, but Poet deVine was the first poet to submit her work to the main site of Passions in Poetry. That post is what gave Ron the incentive to open the site to more poetry.. and more... and more.. and more...  So.. Passions in Poetry grew from there to become what it is today... I met her first as Poet DeVine read her poems, mighty fine, she introduced me 'round the block told me not to miss PiPTalk! 20,000 times, at least for now I've seen her name around somehow, for she is here, and there, and *poof* sorta like Santa upon the roof... spreading cheer and friendship around... she helps make Passions true and sound! Congrats, Sharon! |

Thank you! But the credit for this number goes to all of YOU. If you didn't post such good poetry or such intriguing questions, I would have about 20 posts! And the new title is something I need to talk to Ron about. Seriphim? Isn't that an Angel? I don't think I'm at all angelic - in fact if you get to know me, you'll find that I can be quite devilish at times!!  But seriously, I've so enjoyed Passions for the last few years (Since December 1998 in fact). It has given me so much - you have given me so much - that I will be forever grateful to you all. And to Ron (I know we say that all the time). Without his encouragement, I would have dropped off the face of the Internet without finding out the true meaning of the word 'family'. Thank you Ron. I would like to encourage all newbies to take some time to get to know their fellow poets. It's not just the sharing of poetry that makes PiP so unique, it's the sharing of our lives...... |
