Running away will give your enemy satisfaction. Instead, stand your ground and tell them respectfully how you feel about it. Usually, they'll back off or even run away themselves.

I agree with all the others. You should not go because someone else is inconsiderate, and down right ignorant!! I wish you would reconsider, Gloom. We'd sure miss you round here.

I can only hope that you’ll reconsider your decision, I’ll readily admit that my reason for asking you to is purely selfish – I enjoy reading your work and believe that you’re amongst the most talented writers that frequent PIP.

This site can afford to lose certain types of members but in my opinion you definitely aren’t one of them.

Comfortable resolutions to interPiP issues can be met through effective communication.

In this case, hopefully that has happened.  The member who posted the poem in question did not intend to harm anyone, and out of respect to Professor Gloom they requested it be deleted.

Hopefully then, both can go on their poetic ways.  I'll personally be looking forward to your next post, Sir Gloom...

The computer is a strange element isn't it? who knows who is who anymore. The name game is my first and foremost pet peeve, that's my quirk and it makes me uneasy. I didn't read the attack nor did I go searching for it, it takes all kinds, what can you do? ...but nobody likes to get flamed. (isn't that what they used to call it)

I never told you how much I have enjoyed your poetry and I'm sorry about that. I also agree with what everyone else has said,
(maybe because I've heard it too many times)
