To find the one compatible enough to share your life To share the goodtimes and the bad as husband or as wife To cast aside temptation and the pitfalls that appear And stay together, come what may, through every passing year.... Takes patience, perserverance and the luck of Irishmen. It is a race that we all run but only few will win And should that time reach sixty years it is miraculous A goal to be admired and envied by the rest of us. I tried to do it once and I am happy to report I almost made it! (I was only 59 years short) But here within our midst we have a man who made the grade And it is time to give our guy a ticker-tape parade. Our thanks to Ron for dedicating valued cyber-space And Nancy Ness for building it with dignity and grace.
