Please keep Kit in your thoughts and prayers. She just had emergency surgery (she's home now). She's going to be resting for a bit so she won't be online.

Oh, my goodness!!! I guess I'd assumed that her werk monster was demanding attention... Thank you, PDV, for letting us know.

Awwww ... I've got so many threads to catch up on ... I just found this one now, as I'm heading to bed. Thank you everyone for all your loving sentiments and concern. I've had a very rough week, but I'm home from the hospital, and on the mend now. I did try to post a little something humerous in Open to explain my absence.

In all seriousness though ... there was talk of possible kidney removal at one point when x-rays and cat scans were showing some problems beyond kidney stones. I'm afraid that's the second time I've had that scare. Last time was about 12 years ago, when they cut me open and found my kidney "not" in the normal location. My insides are rather screwed up, so anything that happens to me tends to get rather complicated unfortunately (frankly ... I think I'm part Vulcan).

Thank you again for your healing words and prayers ... and i hope to be back in full swing before long.

Thanks Lisann and Sandra ... I'm on the mend and have some follow-up appointments. Still a little nautious, but I think it's just the incredible amount of drugs I ingested for the pain management.

I was able to work part of the day yesterday, and am going back today.
