I had news from Lyra this morning, here it is............ Thank you for setting up that thread for me. I just found it. I really appreciate all of the love and the thoughts and the prayers and tomorrow, I will respond to them. I am too tired right now. We have spent the entire day in Ann Arbor, but it has been very profitable. In the morning we met with the radiation oncologist and I also had my radiation simulation. He thinks that he will be able to shrink the tumour with radiation. This afternoon, we met with the chemo oncologist and I am going to have some chemo which will be a radiation sensitizer...it will make the tumour more sensitive to the radiation. The radiation will be every week day for about 7 weeks, so I won't have too much time for online poetry, but I will try to write some during that time, if I can find the energy. Radiation will make me very tired and nauseated. The chemo is not supposed to make me as sick as last time, because it isn't a very large dose. He also said that it would probably not make me lose my hair, but might just thin it a bit. As you can see she really appreciates all the positive thoughts and energy you are sending her. Please continue to pray for her she really is a very very special lady, and I’m proud to call her my friend.
