Put up another tower . . . put up another target?
Certainly there are those that already plan a shining, defiant replacement.
Could "the corporation" resist such an idea?
Donald Trump is said to be expressing the notion of building the world's tallest tower there. I doubt he is alone.
I think Roger Ebert has a good idea because I think it's about your connection to the earth, your feet on the soil, not about your greedy head in the corporate clouds.
And since you have called for comment on this, Tom, what do you think?

depends what you consider to be "defiant"

not likely.  they have the whole "bottom line" thing, and humanity got buried by
that some time ago.

best way to defeat a foe
is to take away their power.

let "the donald" have his "tallest"
as long as his office
is on the top floor.

i liked what he said.

making a park there basically "flips the bird" to every "power" involved.

rebuild?  no.  renew.

it's a reversal of circumstance,
if that makes any sense...tom
