I was listening to the radio station on my way to work this morning and
a lady called in from Pennsylvania... she is trying to organize a moment
tonight at 8pm EST and is asking that everyone step out of their house
for a moment tonight with a candle, flashlight, cigarette lighter, whatever
source of light you decide to use ... and stand for a moment or a few
moments whatever you decide to show our sadness at the loss of innocent
lives, to show our appreciation for those who are working in rescue attempts,
and to let the terrorist know they have not weakened us, only made us
stronger!

please pass this along and light up your part of the world tonight!

On Friday September 14th, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. EST step outside you house, stop your car and step out, or step outside of your establishment and light a candle in memory of those who died on 09/11/2001. Light a couple of candle outside your home and let them burn on top of your pool tables or patios tables. Let's do this together to let the world see that we keep the light of freedom and hope in our hearts.
Together we will show the Terrorists that Americans are strong and united together against terrorism and that we will join forces with our government to win this battle against terrorism, we owe it to ourselves and to our children.
Please pass this to everyone on your personal e-mail contact list. We need to reach out to everyone across the United States and the world.
The message: WE STAND UNITED - WE WILL NOT TOLERATE TERRORISM.
