**Please join me... for it hurts less when we hold one anothers hand..  ~A Poets Prayer~ Lord hear this prayer for healing rain Let it wash away this day's unending pain Please Lord ... send us down a gentle wind Warm breezes of comfort in quiet, kind, intend Lord light the night with an emerald moon With sapphire stars that wont fall from view too soon Let the night's shadows blanket us in peace With the dawn's orange glow may we find our release Lord give us the strength to stand tall in this time of loss So that we may hold each other up bearing the weight of grief's cross Lord send us an Angel to sing to the children when they cry Let them sleep serene in harmonies of Heaven's lullaby Lord light the way as we make this journey back home For if we travel your path Lord ... we never walk alone Send us a sign Lord ... so that we may understand the reasons For we know all that you do has purpose, for everything there is a season Lord whisper upon the wind so that we may hear your forgiving voice Teach us acceptance as you hold our loved ones in your merciful rejoice.  When dark clouds covered sight and daylight turns into night within the tears of many souls emotions flow without control Helpless arms reached to sky voices contain heart wrenched cry prayers and thoughts are send above united in prayers to our Lord of Love to be with us in these days of sorrow however we can face tomorrow guide us through these darkest rays light our path in these terrible days. I am still shaken from seeing the footage, and I don't even want to think about the possible outcomes from this. All I know is that the free world better not sweep this under the table or we all lose. I'm sorry this maybe should be a prayer for the victoms and their families. |

No More Please, I cant watch or hear anymore someone I love is still unaccounted for My heart cant stand this another minute I don't want to be in this world without him in it Please forgive me for not doing my daily replies I cant read poetry for these tears in my eyes My heart hurts like Ive been kicked in the chest I'll never understand why life must give such a test How can one man do this to another In the eyes of God we are of one...my sister...your brother What happened to compassion and humanity Is justice a cure for this kind of insanity Please no more ... I cant witness the sorrow I want to wake up and it be yesterday again tomorrow Then there would be a second chance to make this right A chance to rewrite ... let this all be just a bad dream of night Yesterday our innocence died ... on her stone read War is Hell Tomorrow revenge will be justified ...
