Hi folks, I don't normally involve myself in things like this, but this is a special young woman in the whole way she leads her life, her involvement in humanity, her dedication to doing right, her unending Faith, and yet she is able to keep her feet and her sensibilities firmly planted on the ground. I have known Kathy Montoya since she was knee high. She went all through school and graduated from high school with my daughter, Lisa. She has an extremely good heart, is not in the least fanatical, and only wants to help others. Kathy is like a daughter to me and Terry and we love her dearly. She is one of the finest and best grounded young people I have ever met, so... If you can see your way clear, or give to folks/organizations of any kind, please consider sending something to Kathy. I assure you, anything she does is a good, just cause and she will put your gift to the fullest and best use possible, along with her hands-on, personal efforts. If your gift cannot reach her before her departure date...send it anyway! She will be in dire need of it upon her return, as she will be in her last year of college in Denton, Texas (and last I heard she was carrying almost 4.0), and as you well know, every little bit helps. Dear friends and family, How are you? I am doing pretty good....I just finished my may-mester class, which for those of you who've never done this....It's a whole semester of class packed into 13 days. It's crazy! But at least I got the class over with. I've also been getting ready for my mission trip to Argentina which leaves on June 16 and comes back on July 3. I wanted to let you know the status of how this is going and how you can be praying for me and my team. So far, we know that we'll be doing some church construction in Canuelas, a lower income city. We will be doing that and also working with some children in backyard bible clubs. In La Plata, we will be working with college students and will be available to do whatever work these churches need us to do. So far, my team has not met its goal for support and I am at $700, which is almost half of the support that I need to raise. Thank you so much for praying for my team and for supporting us. Please pray that if you are led to, to support my team financially and definitely with prayer. I would consider it a great privilege if you would pray with me that I, as well as my team, would meet our goal for financial support in these last weeks.
