Has anyone in here read The Dialogues of Plato, part of which are actually of Socrates? I have recently started reading them, finding philosophy interesting, and I must say, they are quite fascinating. The way in which Socrates could walk circles around those accusing him is fascinating. I'm also, soon, going to begin reading up on Aristotle. Now that book is a bloody 760pg's! I am just curious those of you who've read the works of those men. Sincerely, Titus Every second that passes you are one second older. You'll never get that second back. |

You know, I may have read part of the Dialogues when I was back in high school. Pretty interesting stuff, but in my class we didn't look at it a whole lot. I think you'll enjoy it, Titus. God bless America, my home sweet home. |

(smiles) I have not yet read the entirety of Socrates in hardbound edition but I am eager to go to college soon and I want to take philosophy and I hope I can get to read these (760 pages you say?) (sigh) I hope your studies are going well, sweet friend, good luck always! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." You mean everyone didn't have to read that in high school????? J There is society where none intrudes, by the deep sea, and music in its roar. |
