The next time Arron and Yoni face the slightly out-of-kilter vampires of Askaris, you can bet recent auction prices will be floating in the back of my mind. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, don't worry. It matters not at all. )

On April 17, the famous Christie's will auction the original typed manuscript of Bram Stoker's Dracula, including Stoker's autograph, and with additions and corrections in ink by the author. Estimated price: $1,000,000 to $1,500,000

The first 'cut and paste' (no pun intended) writer!! I'll be calling in my bid. I'd like to just SEE it, but I'm sure a collector will buy it and hide it away. Sigh.

And I'd like to have Voltaire's book from 1749...sigh.

Arron and Yoni are out slaying vampires?  No wonder we haven't heard from them... Askaris needs them for sure...

Although the Dracula papers would be wonderful to peruse, I might just have to up my ante on that double dare... (All 'Ignoring Nan' passes rescinded...)..
