What is everyone's definition of true happiness? I was asked this question not too long ago, and was curious as to how people would answer...

ive never experienced true love...

..but im always 100% happy w/o a care in the world when im dancing..its hard to explain but I feel like i could do anything and that nothing else matters except for me and how im feeling at that very moment..

Happiness is a state of mind which I am not all that good at attaining. The way you look on things. Don't confuse happiness with joy. But simply put it is a state of mind, how you look at things. Half full or half empty don't cut it. The is still water in the glass, drink and be happy.

Like DancinQueen, I love to play piano. It's relaxing, and thus I'm happy.

But I don't have my piano anymore.

I miss playing. My mom saw an ad in the paper for a dining table and a piano, FREE, all Cherry Wood, but by the time we called, it was gone, all gone...

I agree with White Wolf. I'm not confused. (I think). But, yeah, happiness is something I find hard to attain. It takes effort.

....peace as a primary objective is dangerous because it implies that we would sacrifice any principle for the sake of it....

Happiness for me lately is slowly getting to know someone who is wonderful in a lot of ways. Someone who is listening to me, tolerating me, and making me ask myself the questions I normally wouldn't have the courage to ask. Happiness is also being able to thank such a wonderful friend and know that when no one else knows, they realize who they are. It is that simple for me at this moment. On most day, I don't know what happiness in general is anymore.
