Since it is Halloween .. I thought I'd ask the most obvious question... aren't I original  What scares me... that could be a long list...lol.. I really am a wuss. *chuckles* My list... edited and shortened.. would be... 1) Bugs - I hate them. Ladybugs freak me out. Seriously. 2) Clowns - They are just scary. 3) Dolls - I watched a scarey movie once simply called Dolls. *shudders* Now if I see more than 2 or 3 in a room I get nervous LOL. Umm.. Spiders really freak me out and preying mantis's. That's one really scary insect. And Hissing Cockroaches!!! Those really do me in. Most other things don't scare me though alot of them disgust me. How can you save me? |

OMG.. hissing cockroaches *shudders* I can't even watch them on t.v. My body literally has a reaction... my pulse quickens... a shudder goes through me.. my eyes water... *sighs* I'm telling ya.. I have serious phobia  !Those might very well be my biggest fear in life...lol. And death. I do fear death. The "adults" in the family..(mom..aunts.... I'm 27 but they are still the adults ..heh) say that as I get older.. I'll be less and less fearful of dying. I guess I just have to wait and see eh? Height, I'm defenitly afraid of height, unless I can stand on something that won't move an inch, but when it does I just freeze. One day I climbed the roof to do some mending on the chimney and I didn't dare to climbe the ladder down again, and my husband and both daughters just left me there for quite a while. Hmm... deep question... at least to me it is... I have to ponder everything... lol I guess I'm afraid of people (there's a great story behind that involving lots of psychological junk... lol). I'm also afraid of myself. Which is probably also psychological. I just have issues. What can I say? The day is brighter, but the dawn is sweetest. |

Everything! But more specifically...speaking in front of a group (unless they are hidden in the depths of cyberspace), growing old alone, someone getting into my house and murdering me(guess I read too much), my house going up in flames in the middle of the night, spiders, and flying. Especially flying next week on Thanksgiving. How do I know my engines are attached? Dang, I have a long list...now that's scary!!! P.S. to Rosepetals....be glad you dont live in Michigan. We are being infested with ladybugs, and ladybug imposters. There are so many in my house that sometimes I can't concentrate for the all the clicking as they ram their little shells into my light fixtures. Gross. Apachecat906, OMG ewwwwww! We had a small period like that.. you'd walk outside and there tons of them on the wall. Leaving wasn't hard.. cause I would be walking away.. But no kidding.. it would take me like 15 min to get into my apartment building...lol. I'd just stand there and stare... heh.. trying to work up enough nerve and bravery to run inside without screaming my head off! LOL. I'm telling you... I'm a wuss. Spiders .... Being old & alone ... Open heights - I'm good in a plane ..... but not on the roof of a tall building. But most of all I'm afraid of the day my daughter stops loving me. No one ever listened themselves into trouble. |

Hmmm I'm afraid of snakes, roaches, dying alone.....im afraid of those Halloween movies with that masked killer Michael Myers..it gives me terrible nightmares. I'm afraid of hospitals, they just give me the creeps. Thats it for now : ) |

Lots of people have said they're afraid of heights or falling. I don't think the falling would bother me. I think it's more the sudden stop at the end! I'm afraid of being left in the hands of "capable" doctors that don't seem to be listening to what I'm saying. I'm afraid that if I don't wave goodbye to my parents every time they leave my house, something terrible is going to happen to them. Dumb, I know, but a very real fear for me. What scares me? well thats ALOT of things like SNAKES, I hate them and when I wuz 9, I was outside bare foot playin w/ my friends and i stepped on one. I wuz screamin' so loud, my dad thought something seriously happened to me. lol  And Tornado's .. I've been in like 2 of them, they suck! Lightening - The fear of being Struck! Yup, I think of the weridest things. and um Like the scarey places on halloween, u know like "haunted hills" and "haunted hoochie" and "cry baby tunel?" I hate that kind of stuff. Thunder is a good one.. ... I'm a big baby...lol. Hospital gives me the creeps too. *shivers* I just don't the smell.. ick. Michael Myers! He scares me too! We used to have a Halloween parade here in town...(the college students and high school kids got to rowdy.. so they stopped it...heh) and it never failed.. there would always be a Michael Meyers walking around. I used to cross the street if I saw him coming...lol. I don't know what it is about that mask .. but... It's enough to scare the bejesus out of me!I'm afraid too of never being successful.
