Ok, if addicted isn't the right word to describe about why we're here all the time. . . what is??? Is it a need? A want? A desire? A feeling that you don't get anywhere else? hello sven nice to see you here again ...i think its a strong bond with the poet and the reader that is hard to break.. addiction to the love of poetry i guess and the things that comes with it.. as the poet write his own feelings into his poetry the the reader reads them as his own..i think thats the essence of poetry..and thats why we become connected on the emotional level and anything connected on the emotional level is one of the strongest bond a person and person can share ever in life..so its addiction inn our love for poetry..well..i know i am..since i've been writing i've been obsessed with poetry and only poetry well...mostly..hehe anyways thats my opinions right now...cya~  ...?if i die before i wake , i pray the lord my soul will take-"when thugs cry" |

FOR THE FREAKING POETRY! GOODNESS SAKES!  Haven't you people LEARNED ANYTHING? err..sorry...  For me.. A love of poetry. Reading and writing. Giving and getting feedback and other assorted kinds of replies. The banter in here often creates some form of inspiration. It makes the mind's squeeky joints and wheels move! Its a place to run, romp, dance, sing, cry, share, pull a shell around ourselves, or surround ourselves with the words and thoughts of like minded people or friends (or both). All with the intent of creating something with words..a feeling..a moment.. This place gives us somewhere to share our words where in our daily lives, they might not be as welcome or well recieved. I have met many people here where I've just moved to now, who say they write poetry and other stuff, but they are the same ones who look at me like I'm nuts when I get all excited about it and start talking about it with them. How WEIRD is that? Geesh..  Soo...I can't find anyone face to face who shares my zest as equally or even more, but there are people here who do. There are people here more willing to give me feedback. So, what is this place if not an addiction? It is a place where my words belong and a place where I can come to be inspired by all that goes on here. A place of passion and friendships that expand worldwide in an excellent gift of connection on whatever level we could want or need. I know its different for everyone, and perhaps I haven't really covered all of what it is for me. I think it defies explanation, or perhaps I'm just not very good at making my inner most thoughts truly known. Whatever it is, its excellent, thrilling, and it brings a smile to my face often...so I figure it must be something positive for me, eh?  Geesh.. Hope thats what you were looking for Sven? You know me. One day its simple, and the next day there are too many different parts to count. |

I've been called weird (as I sit here typing this, I'm wearing green and gold and magenta beads - the big green ones have flashing lights in them - they were a gift from a friend who just came back from San Antonio!).
