I have to go to Savahhah on business next month & have decided to stay the weekend cause the airfare's so much cheaper. I've heard it's a very pretty city, but don't know much about it. Do any of you know any good restaurants/bars/pubs/tourist spots that you would recommend? (don't suggest golfing though, since I really have no desire to embarrass myself on the golf course more than once per year, and this years embarrassment has already been taken care of!!)

Thanks Marge. That haunted pub tour sounds just up my alley. Beer and ghosts, two of my favorite things!!!! I'm sure I'll enjoy myself, I understand there's a lot of great old architecture there, and I love old stately buildings.

Tracey, I am so tempted to do just that..When are you going, anyway. I really do need to shake up my life in a better way. This blue funk is not helping me at all.
