Ok..let's have some fun with this one....choose ANY game (but not the board game 'Life') to describe your personality and tell me WHY you think it does! Can be a board game (except Life), a card game, a kid's game (duck duck goose?). But you must explain why you think it fits you! |

I would have to say Chutes and Ladders. Everytime I feel I'm finally getting somewhere, down the greased rungs I go. |

Tetherball--although I am not quite sure if the description includes the entire game, or am I just the ball? sigh...there I go with perception of reality problems again. |

Hmm... well I'd have to say backgammon ..analize and anticipate situations or issues which can be good and at times be not so good [This message has been edited by CocoBaci (edited 08-31-2000).] |

I would side with Alicat (I call it snakes and ladders though...) and for almost similar reasons... is chess considerable? then that would be the perfect one for me... reasons later... regards, sudhir |

I read 'Chutes and Ladders' with horror...but fortunately my ally Suddy was there! CHUTES??? That's not nearly so threatening as sliding down a snake into its fangs at the bottom!!!! My game? Boggle. Without a doubt. Not only do I love words but my life is usually...a boggle... all over the place...up and down, up and down... need I say more? K |

Hmmm...after much considerable pondering and musing, reflecting upon the economic difficulties faced by looming student loans coupled with a low income job, I would have to change my choice from the aforementioned game, to one called 'The Great American Welfare Game'. Yawp, and it was a real board game, back in the early 80's. Right now, I'm stuck in the 'working man's rut', paying left and right, taxes up the wahoo. Now, if I could just be belligerent, I could end up on 'Easy Street', i.e. Welfare, and live in the lap of luxury (as compared with my present situation, anything would be luxury ). |

Hey I love SCRABBLE too... chess actually makes me think hard scrabble makes me think, period! but snake and ladders make me think hardly ... some work hard, others work hardly either way somethings get done for those who work hard get the others' work to do, they complain hard too, but then continue to work... a way of life - extension by Me regards, sudhir |

Ummm after giving this much thought, I would have to say it's the board game, Aggravation. Just when you think you're almost home, ya finally made it, someone comes along and knocks you back 10 spaces, lol. Be hey what doesn't kill us (or make us lose in this case) only makes us stronger huh? This was great fun. Juls |

Well, let's see. I over-analyze just about everything, I try to plan a few moves ahead, and the story of my life proves that checkmate invariably following mating. Ah, but how much simpler it would be if real life consisted of only 64 little squares. |

This is really hard! I would have to say 'Pictionary' because my life has been spent trying to get others to understand what I'm trying to say with the scribblings I put on paper! |

In my current state of mind I would have to say Monopoly. Everytime you get all the hotels and houses set up the way you want, some meanie comes along and takes them from you. A bit like my life, someone doing wrong, or 'taking' what I've worked so hard for! LOL not a happy answer? No.. ok a happier one??? Then I'd say 'Beetle' cos you are making something beautiful LOL Sharon, where do you get these ideas?? *Our deeds travel with us from afar, and what we have been makes us what we are..* ~Isis~Goddess~~Sovereign of the Spirit~ |

Sorry or Aggrivation - cause no matter how hard you try to get ahead, something or someone can come by and knock you back to the begining... I would also throw twister into the fray, seems like you have to tie yourself up in knots and worm your way over, through and under people to get ahead.... Alas... if only life could be a game of naked twister.... Yesterday is ash, tomorrow is smoke; only today does the fire burn. JP "Everything is your own damn fault, if you are any good." E. LOL @ JP!!! I would say a combination of Solitaire (self-explanatory), Risk (I always seem to be battling it out with one person or another), and Balderdash. (If you can't impress them with your intelligence, dazzle them with your BS!!!) |

I'm LOL at JP too! I thought my Dad invented this game...not sure of the name, I've heard many: "Marbles" is one name... O S _ _ _" is another name [yes, same game] 2-4 players...handmade boards...similar to "Sorry" game... "Oh H _ double hockeysticks" as it's been called.... great game...many a time there were pancakes and coffee served early morning 'cause the game was still going...from the night before... see...I've told you all, I'm REALLY from midwest folks... OH yes, why it fits me: because we could change the rules all the time... [This message has been edited by Sunshine (edited 09-02-2000).] |

Well, I would have to say chess. I can think three or four moves ahead most of the time but when I can't, I just make the most irrational, irrelevant move that one could possibly make. Why? I am glad you asked. It causes the other player to lose there perspective. They rack their brain to try to figure out why I made that move. They lose their ability to think several moves ahead for about one turn. When I have lost perspective of the future I just do something totally insane. People just cock their, look at me funny and wonder why. The White Wolf PS Don't tell anyone though.. Would the bunny like this nice carrot? I don't bite. Much. :) |
