I'm not really sure what forum to post this question in, so I decided that since I'm here...

Have any of you ever read Ishmael Reed's poem beware  :  do not read this poem?

I read it and tried to figure out what it was about, but I've yet to have any breakthroughs.  Does anybody have any ideas of what it might mean?
