So I'm absolutely bored. And I got a question for everyone.

You know how some people relate songs to lyrics to points in their life? Well I was curious if there was a song that described you or your life?

My would be Behind Blue Eyes by Limp Bizkit I think.
I always loved the song ever since I first heard it.

I would have to say there are many songs for various points in my life, and various areas... the one that fits most overall, though, is Imagine by John Lennon...

I pretty much have a life songtrack in my head. True-I wake up with a song in my head and for some reason? *wince*

Today it was "Itsy Bitsy Spider".

*shrug*

I dunno. I just report this stuff.

Great question, thanks. Yes it's about the words, but so many artists with so many sentiments....just to name one, Don Mclean...and the song...Vincent.

it's fun Zach,

as I get older my soundtrack gets longer...
it's like a station that plays in my head...
I sent you it pretty much, there are more still, but that playlist covers a lot of it.

I'll email you

today I woke up with that song Heartless, by Kanye West...

Time and time again, I find myself falling back to the sweet melody of the classics.

Over the rainbow - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

Cover of the song Over the rainbow, with a bit of What a wonderful world.

Far as I can remember been listening to this one.

More and more, with the situation in American politics, and with a few other issues that are happening locally, I find myself singing a different song these days:

It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood
It's a wonderful day to be a neighbor...

Finding myself a bit thunderstruck [literally] by what N|D|N|C|Lost-Poet left as a comment...being that I was in Hawaii last November...and he is so right in his choice.

I awake each morning with several voices and/or tunes in my head each time...

but if I had to choose...

It would be "Blue Skies" by Irving Berlin,

as well as my daddy's nick name for me...

You are my Sunshine...

After a very tough year, and a particularly difficult summer, I heard "Here Comes the Sun" for the first time.  I think it was the first time actually was able to have a direct experience of joy in years and I could feel something terrible breaking inside me, and I could actually feel a living current of joy running through me.

I can still feel that when I listen to the song, and actual physical feeling of joy.

There are other songs that I love as well, but when you ask me, that's the one that I want to talk about now.  It still lifts me.

Today and this month, for me, it seems to be "Nobody Knows Me" by Lyle Lovett. It changes all the time, though! I love music, and I let it be something of a companion to my moods. But, yes, that's the song for me right now.

No way! The song you said is one of my favorites! I like songs from the Beatles, the Who, Kinks, Bad Finger, stuff like that.
