before I begin. . . let me say that this is in NO WAY directed at anyone. . . it's just how I feel and I just need to let it out. . . Thank you. . .  Ever feel like you weren't welcome somewhere?? That's how I feel sometimes. . . I feel like everyone is saying things about me that just aren't true. . . of course, you might call me a little paranoid and you might tell me that I should just let it go and it will all go away. . . well, I'm not the first and I've done the second and it's still there. . . it's not going away, it's like a cloud that follows me everywhere I go. . . it goes into the room before I do. . . and they've already been there. . . making me appear to be something I"m not. . . You know, someone once told me that I was too good to be true. . . how can I say the things that I say, how can I write the things that I write and mean them??? Surely, I can't be sincere. . . of course I'm sincere. . .it's just that some people don't get it. . . some people would be quick to judge you and lump you in a category with the rest of those who appear to be like you. . . some people would be quick to make sure that "someone like you" doesn't get out of hand. . .some people though, would be able to see through the lies and see the person that's really there. . .these are the people that I'd like to know. . . they make their own decisions they're not influenced by others. . . if they want to know something. . . they ask. . .they don't rely on what whoever said to whoever. . . would that we could have people like them everywhere. . . Well, I'm tired of it all. . . and this is where it's all going to come out. . . oh, I'm not going to do anything stupid. . . I'm just going to be here. . . writing, doing what I always do. . . making new friends, having fun and writing poetry. . . which is what I do. . . it's always been what I do. . .the words are from my heart. . .and they will always be from my heart. . .and if you haven't figured that out by now. . . then you haven't been reading my words. .. because it's all there. . . all the joy, all the love, all the pain, all the sorrow, all the disappointment. . . it's all there. . . you don't have to go anywhere else to see it. . . it's all there Write, write, write. . . it's what I do. . . it's what I'll always do. . . it's who I am, it's who I was. . . it's who I always will be. . . You want to know me?? You want to know who I am?? What I am?? What I feel?? Who I love?? What I love?? It's all in the words. . . Thank you for your time. . . ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

PHEW! Well, glad you got that out of the way! Sven you're not the only one who's felt that way. I have too. Especially today, it's been one of those really bad days, when everything gets to you. Ya know? Take heart buddy. There's just so much cynicism out there from so much lying and heart break. I for one would be leary as well. BUT, before we judge that one isn't what they appear to be, I think we ought to get to know them first. Seeing as how were both Virgo's, (hehehe) I have the same problem. People, mostly women, don't take the time to get to know me. I think they look at me and just assume I'm the big B. Sometimes that's really hard to deal with, cause it don't leave you with many friends ya know? Tomorrow may we both be happier than today, and may people get a GRIP!  ~HUGS Sven~ |

Hmmm...well really...no one can be that nice surely? Surely everyone here who is really really nice is just out to find some sick way to feel good about themselves... entirely self-motivated. 2000+ insincere people who all found the same place to siphon off each other's niceness! Sven, I read your message and got a lump in my throat as it hurts when people pass judgement without even knowing a person or for that matter walked in their shoes... Swen, I look at y'all's profiles and think "gosh, I didn't know that " or " man, is that neat" or.... you get the idea. Well, then the next time I have to go back to the profiles and start all over 'cuz I have that Old-Timers disease and can't remember. It does help! believe me! I now how you feel Sven......I am, at times, accused of not being myself because I wrote poetry. They say that I am trying to achieve this character in my head, this intellectual that I am not. I know how bad it hurts...I know how it feels to be told you aren't what you truly are because some person decides to see what they want to see. I'm with you  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. I'm in love with my shadow I admire it daily |
