I started making dinner..nightly! Haha, I know that doesn't seem so 'romantic', but it is to me! |

Thnx to the past 2 ppl who posted and to the ppl posting after this. I remember us together |

Hmm.. well I define romantic somewhat differently than most, but here are a couple of things that come to mind. I spent all day (and I DO mean all day) cleaning my bf's house while he was at work and yes, had dinner waiting when he returned. One Christmas I wrote a book for the guy I'd been dating for a couple of years that consisted of a monthly list of things he'd done that were sweet, of fond memories, and of songs/poems that reminded me of him. The typical burned CD of songs that made me think of him. Your much over done candles and music scenerio... Gosh I never realized how unoriginal I can be. Alicia |

My ex-boyfriend and I were living with his parents. I was only working part-time at the time, so I had to be pretty imaginative when it came to romance. So one day I bought a few packs of glow in the dark stars - the big plastic ones, not the little stickers - and made a star field on our bedroom ceiling. I had him close his eyes before he came in, then he lay on the bed before I'd let him open his eyes. When he did, the first thing he saw was all the stars. I went to visit him at his parents' place today, and the stars are still there - seven years later... Bec "I'm not crazy I'm just a little unwell"~ Matchbox 20 |
