Something tells me.... ['cause my leg is feeling pulled...] that you're thinking musical... and in a fever for your motion potion... |

Now you did it ...you've taken me back in time, to moments spent with someone closely connected to these funny blue oysters. LOL at that cowbell scene. I adore Walken. *late 1970's, the southern California coast* Holding on to savored memories that cry to be set to words ~sigh~ Some day, I shall write of fresh made crepes, strawberries and fresh whipped creme, fine wine, fine music, fine minds... pressed up against the backdrop, a Channel Islands sunset. ~sighing heavily here~ thank you |

Do I know who littlewing was? *slapping Reb* Ok, now spiritually there are a couple takes on this, but to me, littlewing was Jimi's muse. Seeing he was part Cherokee, he used to pay homage to his Native spirit guide (like in "May This Be Love" . . . wattterrrfaaallll . . . nothing can harm me at allll . . .) and his own mother, who was Cherokee in many of his songs also. But yeah, littlewing was his muse. |

So...you're not really mental - we all know that... and while it's possible you're endangered, there's no fear of being steamed... and you're a business enterprise! We always knew you were one talented woman! |

Reb, I never watched Sat. Night Live, as I was busy "mothering" or working, but I loved this skit. Thanks for the much needed laugh. I have played it three times. Of course my kids and my friends knew more about it... But that's always the way... martyjo |

Am I having a blonde moment, or did you all see this skit on t.v. lately and this is what the thread rose from? I did see it for the first time this past weekend, probably in the middle of the night, and it was hilarious! Oh and Sue, Littlewing is in Reb's world I think this... http://www.guitarpool.com/docs/users/littlewing/littlewing-selfmade.shtml Then again, he could mean a guitar tab Neil Young created moons ago, called Littlewing? http://www.free-tabs.com/guitar_tabs/neil_young/little_wing.htm But then what do I know? Could be Jimi Hendrix for all I can figure, right Reb? |

Thanks for those Sharon. Very cool links. I know Jimi would have not wanted people to delve into what littlewing was - he would have wanted us to let her fly . . . leaving what she is up to us. Just like we write. You know? |
