LOL. Well, SOMEBODY surely did IT!
Did you ever wonder...did they do it? *sigh*

"How do you think it feels to be the only kid in Jr HS  whose parents do it?" Dr Wayne Dyer....LOL

"When you change the way you look at things, you change the look of things...."

Intent. An interesting PBS episode. Have you seen this one? Did it change your perspective on LIFE? Did it open any doors or windows of thoughts about the nature of matter, quantum physics, human behavior?

I smiled when I saw this last night, Kacy, but I was exhausted and went to bed. But the thought that you put in my mind was as wonderful a memory some 35 years later as it was in 1970...September 19.

My wedding day. I hadn't slept ALL night, and quite early in the morning, I heard my mother stirring, and thought we'd get up for a cup of coffee together. I was about to throw back my sheets when I heard her at her doorway...then...

I heard the door close, and "click".

She locked it? Why in the world did she....

ooohhhhhhhhh....

Trust me, I did NOT disturb them! But I grinned all morning....

LOL, quite the PBS show, eh?

I did watch the full show a few months ago Kacy. Dr. Wayne Dyer is a wonderful speaker, and really inspiring. I loved the quote about "change". Heck, I loved the whole show. His stories and analogies are bang on, and some are real eye openers that can really change your outlook on life.

My mom bought me the book "The Power of Intention", after I blubbered on to her about the PBS show. She really enjoyed it too.

My mom had purchased one of his books called "Your Erroneous Zones" about 20 years ago, and she and I both read it. It changed our whole perspective back then - things I still fall back on today when I'm struggling with things. I really enjoy this guy's perspective on life.

Our house had very thin walls.

I learned to sleep through it.

LOL, thanks to everyone for adding to this thread. Karilea, yes, but my parents locked THEIR door instead. LOL, My older sister told me to stay away from the door (I was 6 or 7) because they were doing "IT." But she would not elaborate what "IT" was, so I let my imagination take it from there. LOL
