State of constant confusion!

0 posted 2004-04-28 07:22 AM

I have spent the better part of this morning re-aquainting myself with some of the best poetry offerings my eyes have ever had the privilige to gaze upon. I was just wondering ... whatever hapened to Michael Anderson? I looked to see if he had posted anything recently but, alas, my efforts fell short.

Anyway, Michael, if you are out there and you happen to read this; know that you and your works of poetic art are truly missed by this enchanted soul. I hope this post finds you still basking in love's light as you were the last time we spoke. May all your dreams be good ones, and may they all come true. Warmest Regards, Jeffrey

You just didn't look in the right place, Jeffrey... /pip/Forum55/HTML/000784.html

I agree, though - Michael is missed around here.  He's happy - That's the important thing...

Thank you for bringing his words to me.

nodding, the first time I read Michael, I thought, "I wanna write like him."

Michael if you're reading this, thanks for being such great encouragement, in your supportive replies but especially by the example of your beautiful words.

See?

You are a legend.

(And Jeffrey, there's more...run a search of "skyfyre" too.)

Now there's a lady with an eye (and ear) for form. There's a dark gentility about her that can't be duplicated.

(Um, Linda? Can we beg a fresh "fix"?)

Hehe… hey Jeff,

I’m still around, and still basking, just haven’t done much writing of late.  I still get the urge from time to time though and I still read here frequently.  I must admit to feeling  a little overwhelmed by the recent draw of attention to my old writings.  I’m honored that you all would find them tolerable, much less enjoyable.

Karen, your writing has been every bit as enjoyable for me as mine has for you.  Your style and unabashed mindset are always a lure to me.  Now stop with the legend stuff already.  Linda is by far a better poet than I. I’ll see what I can do to inspire her to pick up the pen again.

Maree, I’ve watched your writing grow silently for a couple years now and it’s been a pleasure.  From risqué to mournful, you definitely know how to appeal to the darker emotions.

But let me say thank you to everyone. You're all still family to me.  If I am considered the “older” generation here, guess that means I have some catching up to do with the younger generation as well.  Will try to post more – I promise.

Michael, I am so happy to hear that you are still basking. I rarely visiit the site anymore, but when I do it is usually to look for a new post by you. (Ya just can't beat great poetry) I don't write much anymore. It is just so hard to find the time. But when I was writing everyday, you were a huge inspiration to me. I just wanted to say Thank You for allowing me/us into the wonderful world of your imagination.

I wouldn't say "older", more experienced maybe? hehe
