*lack of time to complete four projects on a deadline. *the rain. *my slow growing wisdom teeth. *the finger I slammed in the drawer. *that my vaca isn't for 5 weeks. *that I am waiting for something terrible to happen (and I KNOW what it is and I KNOW that it will and there's NOTHING I can do to stop it). *addiction issues (not my own). *my confusion. *my bills. *phone calls late at night from people obviously under some type of influence. *sigh*. *Unneccessary guilt that I can't seem to shed. *the shooting pains inside my temples. *the fact that I missed yet another appt. *or that I didn't see anything beautiful yesterday. *OR, ok, other than that I'm super great! The fact that 1. I quit smoking (again) last week. 2. I washed my car and it rained. 3. a very expensive book got thrown in the garbage by accident. 4. My dogs like to hang out (and make their deposits) in the neighbors yard more often than in their own yard. 5. The neighbors hate dogs. |

I lost my keys. I NEVER misplace them...I'm so paranoid about that, I am constantly checking to see that I have them. I know they're around somewhere but I can't find them!! I think my daughter-in-law packed them..she's in full pack alert for their move to Illinois this fall..... |

Oh no Sharon! Can you get a hold of her? Invest in a key holder. Hang it up somewhere when you come in the door, you just pop em on there. That's what I do. Though for the life me one time I couldn't find mine. Looked in the pocket of my coat, where I usually hang them. No where. Took my hubby's keys, and later I discovered mine were hanging from my back pocket. LOL Where I usually put them when I'm out somewhere. |

I'm a big procrastinator. I never seem to have enough time to do what I need to do (possibly related to above). Not being able to shake my bad habits--as soon as I think I'm over it, I want to start doing it again (but I haven't yet, so yay). My plans always seem to fall through. I only get paid every other week, not every week. It snowed yesterday. I'm a big worrier. There's no milk in my house as of now. |

- The stupid small trash can in our room. - Fuses that blow when I try to make toast. - Fuses that blow for absolutely NO reason. - Attempting to climb around the back of the house to get to the fuse box. - in the rain, - in sandles, - while wearing pajamas. - Flat tires on my bike. - Finding a job I like and getting bored with it after two weeks. AS USUAL. - Having all my friends hours or states away. - Not being able to just sleep straight through a night. - Lacking the will, motivation, inspiration, and ability to write what I need. - Lacking the ability to solve the problems of, or give full comfort to those close to me. - The dogs barking RIGHT by the window, and not having the ability to control them because they're not mine. - Morning crick in my neck. ... more later. |

Second guessing myself the past two weeks with regards to my lil one's french immersion education... The fact that I wish sometimes I were back home for emotional support in times when my mind and heart struggle (being so far away from family and close friends can sometimes bring out a slew of emotions every now and then)... My flatmates: Mel - who doesn't understand that saying she needs to stop drinking and then picking up a drink 2 hours later, or coming home from the hospital 'stoned' from pain killers and going out drinking might indicate a problem...whose kitten likes to poo on my shorts...who really is quite sweet, but JUST GETS ON MY NERVES. Denzel - who likes to have the volume on the tv SO loud the neighbours don't really need the sound on their own tv up...who likes to wake me up at 2am on Saturday mornings - drunk...He is what one calls in New Zealand a 'Waikato boy' - ie, his primary interests are 19 year old girls, beer and rugby. Charming fellow. Aaron - really a nice guy it's only that he doesn't DO anything round the house... My new mantra: I want my own house I want my own house I want my own house Of course that is impossible - but ONE DAY..that bright golden ONE DAY. (To be fair - I am sure I annoy the hell out of them too - but this is MY turn to vent lol) *The fact my flatmates managed to get the phone cut off while I was overseas. * My computer is broken. MY COMPUTER IS BROKEN. (Stuck on SLOW uni puters) *The lecturer who told me yesterday - oh you're going to have a very HARD time catching up aren't you? Are you sure you want to take this course?' HOW encouraging - thank you very much. I am going to get an A+ dammit and wave it under her face heh. (Wishes are nice things yes?) Sigh - that'll do. The barter system no longer exists....did you know that you can no longer give up your firstborn in payment for the power bill? When did that happpen? You can no longer trade your dog and cat for the heat either. I really hate this job I have and just want to go find a place to live that doesn't require money. Co-workers are nice people but lazy and because I am the new kid on the block, they think I haven't been around the block. Haven't even been there two weeks and hate it already! How can you save me? 1. When the police show up at your door at midnight with both your kids. Apparently when my daughter was pulled over for not updating her plates, their friend was found to have a warrant out for unpaid fines And he had DopeyDope in his pocket... 2. Clean clothes in the bottom of a dirty clothes hamper. 3. Spraying furniture polish all around my house before realizing that it isn't the air freshner I thought I was spraying. The husband who pulled off one cabinet door a year ago to see if he could refinsh it, and never put it back up! *and didn't refinsh it cause it looked ICKY* Yep the clean clothes in the dirty laundry. OK I have bunches of these... 1. People who talk just to hear themself talk. 2. Inconsideration....ex. Like when one of the guys holds the door open for the girls, and know one says thanks or they end up calling him a pansie. 3. People who read my computer screen by looking over my shoulder 4. People who stare/nosey.....espically teachers....UGH! 5. Dumb little kids that write stuff on the wall and then end up spelling what they wrote wrong. 6. Guys who think that a womans place is in the kitchen. 7. I keep putting off homework and then when I DO do it the teacher doesn't take it up and count it as a grade. 8. MY car. ITs a peice of poo...I mean big time. Its weird b/d when the gas nedle is on E it runs great but when it is full it doensn't!!! I HATE FORDS!!! 9. My grandma....she is driving me wacko. I try and try to be nice and keep my temper but she is makeing it hard. 10. GUYS spreading LIES about me that are NOT true. UGH if wanna strangle him. 11. I can't find matching socks. 12. It won't STOP rainning....AND it won't warm up....FOR CRYING OUT LOUD I wanna go hiking 13. History homework. yuck.14. Anything that comes in a box that doesn't work when you take it out of the box. Service people for those items that come in a box and don't work when you take them out of the box who try to tell you that opening the box voids the warranty (or some such gibberish) just so they don't have to fix/repair/replace the piece of junk that came in the box that should've worked when you took it out of the box. Foam for holding items in a box so they won't get crushed that expand to 5x their original size when you take them out of the box since they were severely cushioning the item in the box. And, of course, you must include all original packing materials when you have to return the item from the box since the item from the box didn't work. See above for recap of rant. Blue Screen of Death and Despair when you take newly bought hardware out of the foam and box and it doesn't work. See above items for recap of rant. |

Acies - if I put them to rap surely it'd be plagiarism - they've been used a thousand times already lol.. I need to vent again...more..more - it never STOPS. NOT being where I want to be. I don't WANT to be here...I want to be somewhere else. Darn it all. How many times do we get in positions where we have to wait for 'something to pass?' It's not possible to have what you think you want - so you wait for the desire to pass. WHAT FUN. Humph. Money. I loathe money. I loathe how it is permanently juxtaposed against time. I don't have much of either right now. Here's an incentive to travel to NZ - bring $100 US and you'll wind up with $239 NZ.. Now reverse that. Yes...you can all imagine how very POOR I am after visiting the states. Thanks guys - for being so much MORE economically healthy. Another warning - avoid using Visa cards or anything similar. Sigh lol. UNIVERSITY. That's it. I don't need to elaborate on that. VENT VENT VENT. People, people, people, PEOPLE. Certain IRRITATING people... definately packing and moving, then moving and finding that it didn't matter how hard you packed and thought you kept track of stuff, you still lost things and can't figure out where the *bleep* they went too because you have checked every box and you cleaned out the moving van spotless and yet they are still gone! ~Ok so I'm only mad 'cause I'm sick and I just got up and made a cup of tea and turned the heat to 80, yeah, it's sitting right in front of me, the tea, all steaming and so totally what I need right now, with a crunchy (not anymore) little breadstick thingy floating in it!!!!!!!!! -when guys totally have no respect for their wives/girlfriends and say things to them such as "Shut up woman" on the phone, then turn to me when I look up and say "That's the way to talk to 'em!" DOPEY!! 80mph?? Been there, done that.. I thought it was a 55 mph zone...'cept..I was doing more around 90, but when I saw them pull out, I slowed to 80, and then they asked me how fast I was going..And I told them about 80 or so! ROTFL! OHHH..and might I say..POLICE OFFICERS WHO THINK THEY'RE TOO GOOD TO SAY HELLO TO YOU WHEN YOU SMILE AT THEM AND TELL THEM HELLO! ARGGHH!!!! The police are weird here..Definetely not like the smaller town I was from...Friendly, those guys were. Err..maybe thats why I don't have three speeding tickets on my record? Thanks for letting me know what I missed by not having to pay the ticket, Dopes! I wonder what the fee would have been in this state. Hmmm..Another vent..or three...or more.. **People who throw their cigarette buts or half smoked cigarettes (STILL FREAKING BURNING) out of the windows of their cars while they're in front of me. **People who pass me on the interstate on the right side because EXCUSE ME!! I MUST be in their way..right?? While I'm doing 75 or better ALREADY in the fast lane..attempting to pass someone...and someone else passes me, on the wrong side (apparently because I'm going to slow for them) AND THEN...motion with their hands by pointing after having passed me, to the right lane! Am I making sense? Geesh..err..some crazy drivers out there, eh? **Husband who rearranges EVERYTHING when he gets home because he doesn't like what I've done with things...ARGGHHH!!! **Husband who thinks the house HAS to be clean all the time! NO WAY! I HATE 10 hour workdays that start in the middle of the morning... I feel like my evenings are a whole five minutes long.
