I'd have to stick with Rebel with the fact that my "Favorites" list would be too long and Ron would have a fit...so I'll give two.

1.  Tears in Heaven (Eric Clapton)
2.  I'll Be  (Edwin McCain)

(smiles) OK...you've twisted my arm! I am lovesick over all kinds of music (of course as you can notice I am wearing a Shakira T-shirt in my picture, yay, GO SHAKIRA!!! ) and she would definitely be my favorite artist, though my love for music extends so many places:

#1: Underneath Your Clothes: Shakira

(So beautiful I had to stick her chorus lyric into my valedictorian speech! What are the odds of that happening! )

#2: Whenever, Wherever: Shakira

(One of the most poetic and harmonious love songs with a spiritual value that makes me cry every time I listen to her! )

#3: With Or Without You: U2

(My #1 Favorite Rock Song Of All Time)

#4: Round Here: Counting Crows

(I grew up listening to Counting Crows and Hootie & The Blowfish as a boy. They convinced me I was not alone in my despair and gave my heart big hugs)

#5: Time: Hootie & The Blowfish

(I don't care what most people think. Darius Rucker is more real than most songwriters can ever be. He speaks with compassion and heart and never do I find that "uncool". I cry every time I hear this song.)

#6: Misty Mountain Hop: Led Zeppelin

(I love all Led Zeppelin, but this sounded most surreal to me. Guess it took me just as high as Stairway To Heaven)

#7: Angel: Sarah McLachlan

(This beautiful piano ballad just keeps getting more valuable each day. It never fails to make me cry and I swear after 9/11 its more richer than any other pop single.

#8: Bright Lights: matchbox twenty

(Rob Thomas is one of the best lyricists of our generation...period. He can write songs that everyone can understand yet they sound so poetic the way he sings them. He reminds me so much of Elton John or Adam Duritz here.)

#9: Learn To Fly: Foo Fighters

(Dave Grohl is another great example of a wonderful songwriter this generation. Actually, I had this song in my head when I was picking my Passions name Mistletoe Angel. I knew I had to learn to fly, so why not try to become an angel?)

#10: Thunder Road: Bruce Springsteen

(Bruce will always be "the boss". For all you know, it is Bruce and the way he can perform 3 hours straight with maximum energy that starts the thunder in this balladeer rock song. Thor must be proud! )

And here's many others I love very much and wish I could talk about them all, this time not listed in favorite order, all playing quite a lot on my jukebox. By the way, you all have to check out Jason Mraz and Maroon 5, they are amazing!

#11: Octavo Dia: Shakira

#14: A Long December: Counting Crows

#227: Cornflake Girl: Tori Amos
#228: Silent All These Years: Tori Amos
#229: A Sorta Fairytale: Tori Amos
#230: (much of The Smashing Pumpkins material)

...and I'm sure there's more, but you get the picture! I love rock, roll, and all music in general. I also am a big lover of all latin music besides Shakira and gospel, African, and Irish tenor melodies!

Sincerely,
