I just wanted to put a topic up, and I figured I'd ask everybody what they're favorite animal is. So what's you favorite animal? I love animals and since Im making myself choose I'd have to say wolves, cause they're beautiful and graceful and awesome, and I have a hybrid, he's the best! Say it! Say he's the best! lol. Im kinda hyper could you tell? You still have to say it.

cats are cats, no matter which 'big' word or breed you throw around.  wild or domesticated.

i'm personally a fan of the lemur.  and i've always enjoyed raccoons.  they're so... rabid.  such sweet little carnivores...

Ferrets, yes! I love ferrets too, but I figured I should only pick ONE favorite. Oh and horses too, and sugargliders, and lemurs, and cats, and red pandas, and ravens, I love ravens I took care of one once that had a broken wing his name was Gregor, but I had to put him back in the wild and now he's gone.

I love dogs...and I really miss my Border Collie.  She was super smart and protected me and my girls.  If a man walked in the house without me being there to answer the door she went balistic.  Even my Dad had to get permission before she allowed him in. I also have a poodle that is spoiled rotten, but she is very pretty and sweet. Everyone in our apartment wants her   that's not going to happen.

as afar as admiring beauty....I love Horses.

what is this "four legs are better than
two" ??? Animal Farm (the book) is still fresh on my mind from a discussion in Alley.
There are animals with 2 legs. We have hens, turkeys, ducks (the ducks are funny, completely mad) they are my favourite..to eat. I have probably offended a few vegetarians.... sorry.. but its a circle of life thing. LOL  But seriously,

My fav. animal, when I was younger I might have said a dolphin or wolf, for what they appear to represent. I guess my fav. is the black cat we have. Lucy, either that or sloths...they seem to lead a fairly idyllic  lifestyle.

Snow leopard is my all time favorite in the wild cat breed...
Basically I just looooove most breeds of dogs (large or lap) and horses alongwith cuddly domestic cats...
But any kinda rodent (so2speak) or caged bird has me standing back a lil bit2this very day...

When I said animals with 4 legs that didn't mean it excluded 2 legged animals, it was just kinda of a joke about how some PEOPLE can be animals and that this topic wasn't about them.

lol...what? Creepy-crawlies are cool. Spiders rock. If you've ever had you hands tied with one of those knots that tightens the more you struggle to free yourself, you have an idea of what it would be like to be caught in a spider's web.

She's a dominating, seductive murderer. She lets her victim bring themselves upon their own demise. Only when they're too far in to escape does she reveal to them the error of their ways, and with it, their punishment.

The scorpion, on the other hand, is the brutish male, striking fast and hard. But it too yields an important lesson: beware the small and seemingly meek, for they strike with the deadliest of poisons.

*coughs* Erm...cue end of romanticizing the critters.

Creepy-crawlies still rock.

I still don't like spiders, or scorpions for that matter. I know it's a rather unreasoning fear, spiders are sooo many times smaller than me, but I still don't like 'em. That was cool tho about the whole small and meek and deadly poision thing, I like that LOL! What should we call your movie? Romancing the Creepy Crawlies? rofl.

Yeah...the thing about small scorpions is true. Actually, it's more about the size of the pincer than the size of the scorpion itself. A scorpion with larger pincers isn't near as poisonous as one with tiny pincers. Helpful if you're ever in the desert, I guess.

A fear of spiders is justified, I suppose...what creature would not be terrified of a being so many times smaller than themselves, but often so many times deadlier? Take the Black Widow. She needs no explanation.  Guess I just find it more intriguing to admire her for her deadliness, than to fear her for it.

And to Rhonda, thank you ever so much.
