Just curious.

Myself, I look for names of authors I know and like.  Basically anything posted by one of these persons gets read.

Then I look for odd or interesting titles.

You?

Actually, I do the same thing. I look for authors I enjoy reading, then I go by titles, then I read the ones that have no replies.

Poets I've read, interesting titles and new poets then I look for the poems with 0 or 1 replies and reply as I just hate the thought that a poem might get lost in the depths without someone reading it and I know what a blow it can be not to get any replies to something that you really feel is some of your best work

Chris, I may have, but as you well know I do a complete core dump every 6 months or so.

As such, I can say that no, I haven't asked this (in the last 6 months).

ROTF...give him some attitude...

How do I browse?  Sometimes I pick a key word, just to see what others have written on.  By reading them, I find myself searching to be inspired in a vein not yet written about.  Sometimes I feel successful, sometimes I feel like I've added yet another page on the same subject.

Sometimes I browse by author...

sometimes...I just read through the archives....

Well first I go by author, then titles.
I don't spend as much time as I used to here, so these days I am more selective in my reading, if they are poet I am not familar with I go by title and also the no. of replies. If they have a low no. of replies (i hate seeing poems ignored in the rush of forum traffic) I will read and reply if I like the poem.

usually its just a logical progression from top to bottom...but I have my favourites, and if I have no time, then I check those out first.

Are you scared? BOO! Are you now?

I search a word that interests me in the archives, and then read all the poems I can in that vein until my eyeballs decide they'd rather lay against the keyboard than remain in my face.

Mike <--kinda like that
