Ok. Its offical my softabll coach is a jerk. He is so biased. When you look out at the feild all you see is the same girls that play on the basketball team. There is only one who doesn't and thats only b/c she is new. One of the girls just started playing and she isn't any good. I started more games my first year than I have this year. I know I am a lot better this year than last but I don't get it. The girl he has put in my place sticks at softball. she can't catch a pop-up and usually misses grounders. Her hitting is ok and she would be better if she sung right. I serously think she gets to play b/c she was on the basketball team. I use to be untill my knee started messing up b/c coach had us run on pavement for an hour every day. Which is one of the quickest way a person can mess there knee up. After physical therpy and being threaten with the possibility of steriodial injections or surgery I decided to quite. Well it was that plus the fact that I couldn't stand coach anymore. The thing is I don't know what to do. I have set out 3 games and started some JV games....JV!?! i have been playing softball since I was 8! GRRRRRR! I'm really steamed about this. I tryed talking to my other coach about it. I don't know what it do. I mean I LOVE softabll but I don't know if it is worth it anymore. Any advice? *~*Malinda*~* [This message has been edited by Greeneyes617 (edited 04-10-2001).] |

My advice- Play something that nobody else does... that way, you'll get less competition with one another, and more admiration for your uniqueness. In fact, go out and invent a game, that way you'll immediately be the best player on the planet! How's that for a self-esteem boost? The sun was born, so it shall die. ~VNV Nation, "Further" |

Communication my friend Go talk to your coach about it. But make sure you approach him in I nice way. Don't be rude about it. By being nice about, it assures you more that he'll listen to you. good luck "So long as men can breathe or eyes can see, |

Yep, I say talk to him about it. But make sure that you dont whine about the situation, or he won't take you seriously. I'm speakin from experience on this one. Or, ask him what you can do to become a better player. They love that. ~Carly NOTE TO SELF: Live to love and love to live. |

Well I walked into the gym today and my coach ask me if I was going to stay on the team. I told him that it all depends...His response was "well it be kind of hard for you to start the distric tournment if your not there" so I guess that means I don't have to confront him about it. |
