Hey, how reliable is Yahoo as an email service? When I email someone from my Yahoo address, can I be sure they're going to receive it? And can someone emailing me from Yahoo be just as sure that I'm going to receive it?

Yes and yes. I've had Yahoo for 4 years and other than the spam, it's worked fine for me.

I'm afraid I must disagree with PDV. I've had yahoo for ages also, and it's been fairly dependable over the long haul. But lately, it's started losing half of what I send... or delivering it days later. Toe's having the same problem... and yahoo support has been anything but supportive!

Do I still use it? Yes. Probably more than my other accounts combined... primarily because I don't have to fight spam on yahoo nearly as much as on other free servers.

But if you send something important, copy it to your sent folder cause it may or may not get there... and if someone doesn't answer you, don't assume they're at fault... they may not have gotten anything to answer!

I agree with PdV at least in my case.

For me it has always worked for over 3 years now, with almost no problems... in fact the spamguard is also quite efficient.... hardly anything gets through, which is such a good thing.

It seems to be the best free e-mail software service available.
